Privacy Policy — Science Smackdown: Rhythm Duel

Effective 21 October 2026

This policy applies to the Science Smackdown: Rhythm Duel Android app (package com.supercapybara.sciencesmackdown), published by Supercapybara. Privacy questions: contact@supercapybara.com.

Summary

Science Smackdown: Rhythm Duel is an offline single-player game against a computer-controlled player. The app makes no network connections, and we do not collect or share any information about you.

What the app stores on your device

The app saves your control, audio, effects, accessibility and game setup preferences (such as game mode, stage and music track) on your device so they are kept between sessions. These settings never leave your device through the app. The game does not create an account and does not ask for your name or any other personal information.

Network, permissions and third-party services

The app does not request Internet access, so it cannot send or receive data over the network. It uses one Android permission, vibration, for optional haptic feedback. It does not access your microphone, camera, contacts or location.

The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or in-app purchase SDK, and has no account system or developer-operated server. The game is built with the Unity engine; Unity Analytics, Unity Ads, Unity In-App Purchasing, Cloud Diagnostics, crash reporting, performance reporting and hardware statistics are not enabled in this version. We do not receive usage data, analytics or crash reports from the app.

Like other Android apps, the game may write status and error messages to your device’s local system log. If you have enabled usage and diagnostics sharing on your device, Google Play and Android may separately provide developers with aggregated crash and performance statistics under Google’s own policies.

Retention and deletion

Saved settings remain on your device until you change them, clear the app’s data in Android settings, or uninstall the app.

This version does not opt out of Android backup. If backup is turned on for your device, Android may include the app’s saved settings in your device backup (for example, Google backup) or a device-to-device transfer, and restore them when you reinstall the app or set up a new device. Backup copies are handled by your device and backup provider under their own settings and policies.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to respond to you, and you can ask us to delete that correspondence.

Changes and contact

We will update this policy when the app’s handling of information changes; the effective date above identifies the current version. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@supercapybara.com.
